normally i recommend MyFitnessPal but they always tell you that you are overeating on protein. It is a good app to ensure you aren't eating too many carbs though, you just have to do the protein math yourself. a good rule of thumb is that if you want to gain muscle mass you need to have 2 grams of protein per day per kg of weight you currently are.

that's the upper limit. many trainers say that 1.2 to 1.5 per kg is enough.
