Wow, that’s a serious amount of solar panels! I’ve never seen an array that large here in Canada. We have a wind farm about an hour and a half from me and it’s a site to see but not as large as what you photographed. Very cool

There are plenty of bigger farms around these days. Canada has plenty of space for them, so ought to have more.
We have some large builds on a few farms. About 10 years ago the Manitoba Government was assisting with Manitoba Hydro to incentivise home owners to develop solar energy on their property. I was approved for 77KW based on my usage. At the time I was mining BTC and my power use was high but unfortunately I never took advantage of the program. The outlay would have been more than I wanted to pay out although if I did go ahead with it the mining would have more than covered the expense. I am now considering a small build just to keep a revenue stream of mining to assist the farm.
We have 8kW on our roof plus a battery. That could power a lot. I need to do some automation to optimise it. I guess it's better to power mining from the sun rather than burning stuff. It could also run the a/c for those who have that.
8k is a sufficient amount for most household items. Battery tech is still expensive and from my research not that efficient yet although I’m sure in the next few years that will change dynamically. A lot of mining has gone green out here with the cold we use the miners to assist in heating. I ran only miners for seven years with no furnace. It was actually too hot even at minus 30.
