Description from Strava:
I am back at my regular haunt this week. There was some heavy rain last night, so I was expecting it to be soggy and it was in places. There were only 70 this week, but the weather may put some off.
Yesterday I was at a company meeting in London. After the business part we had some drinks and pizza. They got a caricature artist in who drew everyone. How do I look?
This morning was bright and cool. I managed to pick up the wrong shoes. I wore my hiking shoes instead of my trail running ones. I think they are a little heavier and I am blaming that for my poor performance today (workman/tools whatever). I had my usual chat with some regulars before we set off. One guy did the Riga half a couple of weeks back.
It did feel like hard work today. I do not mind the mud too much, but my legs were just not moving well. A fair few people came past me, but I kept going. I am a little disappointed in my performance, but it is an incentive to keep training. I need to keep up regular runs each week.
I managed to jog most of the way home.
I am off into London again tonight to meet a friend to go to a gig and then I am in Portsmouth tomorrow to see our daughter do the Great South Run. I hope the weather is good for that.
Enjoy your weekend and run free!

I knew it was going to rain, but I didn't expect the heavy downpour yesterday night. I'm glad for it though, the garden needed a little water :)
I managed to miss that rain, but I heard there was some local flooding around home.
Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

I can vividly remembered that 2years ago or so, I was following up with this your running exercise update. Due to some unforseen circumstances I stopped coming Online or I took off from using this Media (hive) but I am fully back in hive again , I look forward to see your next update after the London visit
Don't expect my posts to be that exciting ;)
The shape on the Map looks like this emoji (mirrored) : 💪
