This run helped steevc burn 564.0 calories. @steevc just finished a 7.04km run, that lasted for 46 minutes.

Description from Strava:
I was thinking of running sat parkrun yesterday, but they needed volunteers. I was scanning barcodes. There was a really good turnout despite freezing conditions.

Overnight we had a little snow, but it was already melting when I got up for my first run of the year. It was a bit slushy out there, so I was being careful. This was my first run up to Fairfield in a long time. Some trees came down in recent high winds, but they have been cleared. I saw a few other runners out there. I think a lot of people start the year with good intentions, but I intend to keep it up.

I was not quick, but I need to build up again. There was some snow on our solar panels, but most had already slid off. It has rained since then, so they should soon clear and get a wash.

Run free.

Zagreb also had the first snow of the year few days ago but it melted in the first few hours. I was a bit more luckier when coming to the hills :).

I don’t like the slush either, stay safe!😬

that bottom photo looks a little scary to me. I like running in the cold but every now and then a bit of black ice comes into the picture and I see my life flash before my eyes where briefly it seems I am going to go flying into a ditch.

You have to make a judgement on what is safe and I wasn't feeling like it was really slippery. There were some more obvious ice patches though.

Better late than never, snow run looks good from this side of the pond!

Where do u live? I don't like the period when snow melts down :) but good for our water resources.

Central UK. I only really like snow when I can ski on it.

We've had frost here, no snow. I expect it will soon clear. It was very cold when I went out yesterday and I couldn't find my ear warmers!

We rarely get much and I'm fine with that. Stay warm.

We had the snow here too but it was double-digits temperature by 10am so all of it was gone.

Snow run. Nice :)

7KM is a very long distance and the time you used in making is amazing.

Keep up with the good work of staying healthy

Happy new year to you

It's reality not far, but it was enough today

Running for 46 minutes is not an easy task. I am sure I can't do that.

Great workout!

Maybe you could if you worked on it. There was a time when I couldn't.

I try to walk daily. Will consider some short runs. Thanks :)

Snow run, nice one
