We each run our own race. I think he finished before me that time and we probably still had a lap to go. By the end I would be looking less chippy. In any case I am generally running as hard as I can even if it doesn't look like it.

Mate, you are clearly like a swan. Sleek and calm up top with those chunky legs going ten to the dozen.
But swans don't have chunky legs! Theirs are black. I see myself as more of a gazelle.
In this politically correct hell we live in, I was trying to avoid saying, "A deformed swan."
You don't generally see swans running, but if you do then get out of the way. We do get some around the parkrun course as it is around some lakes and there's a small river too.
Swan Upping is not what you think!
