Most of the abuse stories I hear have ladies as the victims but the one I witnessed had the man as the victim. And to shock you even further, it was physical abuse.
I was around 15 years old when this happened. Our neighbor at that time used to complain bitterly about her husband. She said he was a womanizer and was cheating on her with a lot of women. Although I was a kid, I understood what a womanizer was but I hadn’t seen the man with any woman before.
Even those times when he used to let me follow him for his rounds, I never saw him for once visit any woman. So those allegations his wife was making made no sense. And I get it that someone might say I was just a kid so I probably didn’t know what was going on. But then, nobody in the neighborhood saw the man do any thing. In fact everyone was on the man’s side.
There was this particular day, I was sent to take something from my neighbor’s place. I think he dropped us home from school that day and my brother left something in his car so I was going for it. We had already informed him so all I needed was to head in there, pick his car key and get the thing from his car.
The moment I reached the compound, I head a loud sound and then a follow up sound. I tiptoed to check what was going on only for me to see my neighbor’s wife beating her husband. As at that time, the man had already fallen down and could not even fight back. I was so scared and began shaking. I wanted to run but I was scared she would probably see me and kill me. Don’t blame me, I watched so many movies.
We later found out that the wife had been cheating on the man for so many years and got caught that night. And when the man confronted her, she hit the back of his head with a laptop which even broke into two. I didn’t even get why she was the one cheating all that while but kept accusing his husband of womanizing. And I also didn’t understand what she wanted to get from beating the man. I was so happy he didnt lay even a finger on her through it all.
They divorced not long after that and the woman didn’t get even a pesewa from the man because fortunately for him, the cctv in the living room was on so it caught everything. Till today, anytime I see the woman, I just get scared.

I used to hear about wives beating husbands but I have never witnessed it so I did not believe it... cos I believe men are much stronger, but if one, two, or four people are saying it happens then there is some truth in it.... I am glad he left the situationship cos that is not a relationship.
Oh yeah, that’s what I thought too but he couldn’t defend himself because of the woman’s first move which made him fall.
It was a whole marriage😂
Thats such a bad experience as a child to see well such is that most women are the victim and accuse men been the one he is a good example of men you
