The Mind-Body Connection: Enhancing Mental and Physical Health

A healthy living is a wealth and worthy living. Hello members of this community I am glad tope on this week's topic. It's a very crucial topic that people do not give much attention to but it's killing us. Well done to the team lead for putting this together. Get yourself a comfortable seat and let delve deeper into the topic.
THE MIND AND BODY CONNECTION.
These two parts of the human being cannot work separately. They always work hand in hand. For the body to elicit and commands it is the mind or memory that gives the instructions for the body to act. Be it expression emotions, the urge to ease oneself, the ability to love, the urge to feel hungry etc all is the work of the mind that gives us a prompt. Therefore it can be seen that the mind is a powerful tool in our body that should not be played with. As human as we're we tend to put more focus on our physical well-being and neglect our mental health.

3. ENGAGING IN FUN ACTIVITIES
It could be anything you love doing that makes you happy. Example, listening to music and singing along, hugging out with friends, reading a book or watching your favorite movie. These activities takes our minds off things that can easily cause depression or makes you feel lonely. If it's someone you want to have conversation with do so. These are healthy for our mental health.

According to the world health organisation, it defines health as the state of mental, physical social and emotional well being of an individual. In this regard to classify an individual as fit requires all these aspects to be in good shape. Some people do not have any problem on the outlook but inward and mentally they may be battle a deadly mental illness that is not seen physically. It could be depression, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, lose of self worth among others.

As an individual as I choose to maintain a good health I make sure physical and mentally I am up and going. These are some of the things I do that keeps me healthy.
1. EATING HEALTHIER
There is a saying that say you are what you eat. This is a true statement and I can testify to that. Eating right dose not only have effect on you physical outlook but your general well being.

2. EXERCISING
As you're eating healthy and exercising, it tends to make you alert and physically fit.

4. WORRY LESS
Avoid holding grudges with people. Try to live at peace with all men as much as possible. Have some good laughs when you get the chance and smile always. Do allow people to deem your happiness. Simply cut off people you feel have bad energy and flow with people you can match their energy.

5. PRAY FOR A HEALTH MIND AND BODY
In as much as we trying to stay healthy let try to pray for ourselves to be protected against any evil forces. Praying for good health also helps.

True health is when we are sound, physically, socially, mentally and emotionally. A slight shift in any of these can cause us problem.
