Self-care in a hectic world

in HiveGhanalast year
Ken hardly takes breaks and days off. He is only concerned about the bag and getting things done.

He woke up this morning feeling weak and fatigued. He complained of headaches and back pains. We took him to the hospital. The Doctor told him that his system had broken down and he needed rest. He won't be able to go to work this week.

This is the week the auditors are coming around. He is the boss and needs to be around. What is he going to do? Can he trust his subordinates to satisfy the auditors?

Most often at times, we forget to take self-care breaks. We don't even think of taking days off to take care of ourselves. All we are concerned with is work, work work. We are so busy that even our breaks are occupied.

We need to be more conscious about self-care. We need to take leaves and time off work.
You need that break man! You need that vacation!
Make use of your leisure time: meditate, reflect, and get the rest you need.
Hit the gym; eat well and eat healthy
Try to avoid stress as much as possible; the world is already hectic, and if you lose guard, you might fade away without knowing

Self-care is as important as working hard. It promotes physical, mental, and emotional growth and stability.
Rest is an important aspect of human life and that's why even God rested after He finished His work.

If even machines need maintenance, how much more are you, a human being?
Take a day off; relax, go to that recreational center, take care of yourself, and come back stronger.

Thanks for reminding us about the need to take breaks and relax our bodies. It's important that we prioritize on self care more than anything.
