THE BRIDGE

I used to be really scared of failing till I learned that failure is a learning curve. Then I just got confident to do whatever that I have to do because I know that even if I don't succeed at first, I'm learning to be better so as not to fail again.

After overcoming the fear of failure, I started battling with the fear of poverty. Having attained adulthood and even having a child that I am responsible for, nothing scares me other than being poor. It's one thing experiencing poverty as a single adult, it's a whole different ball game experiencing poverty when there is another human being dependent on you.

If there are situations that I hate in my life, one which I cannot afford the basic necessities tops the list, followed by a situation whereby I can't afford my cravings. I also do not want to be in a position where loved ones will reach out to me for help, and I cannot assist them financially.

Generally, poverty is the most unpleasant experience there is because one is alive, but they are not actually living. I have not been poor, but I have been broke before and I do not like being there nor do I ever want to remain there. While being broke is only temporary, poverty is worse because one is mostly placed in a hopeless situation of not ever coming out. In order to never be poor, I am constantly investing in myself by acquiring knowledge which I know can transcend to wealth and finance. Wherever they are discussing wealth creation and investment, that's where you will mostly find me.

Personally, I'd like to view being broke as a preparation to poverty or a poverty model and if one is not careful or thoughtful with their solution strategies while broke, they just might end up being poor.

I have a friend who is very successful in his field. Oftentimes, he will beat his chest and say if he goes broke today and loses all that he has worked for, with just his phone and the internet he's sure to bounce back and recover all that has been lost.

When I asked him how sure he is of his assertion, he made me understand that over the years in his quest for wealth, he has built a solid networking system with people of like minds who have far supersede him at his current state of riches. Friends who know his worth and have come to see him as an asset and are ready to come to his rescue.

Aside from that, he has also built a strong internet presence of which every month he makes about $1500 from his internet/social media activities.

After our little chit chat coupled with my own experiences of how my friends have come through for me financially, I then realized that in this fight against poverty, it's not really about the money that one makes, but the bridge of friendship that is being built in the process of wealth creation.

Sometimes I get scared of Poverty too, as it tries to take enjoyable times from our life. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that we will win, and it is poverty that will be scared, as we will be far from it, and it can't stopped us. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Thank you for stopping by 🙂

You are welcome @bipolar95

People are where the money is. If you want to create wealth, build a strong network of people.
You see what that guy told you is a financial tip that people pay thousands to get.

Yeah, you sure got that right... Thank you for reading me 🙂

That’s a very unique perspective about being broke. Mm that’s fine.
Anyway, I think I agree with your friend. All you need to do is to have organic connections with people whether virtually or physically.

And kiss poverty bye bye.... Thanks for reading me Zen.... I mean Abe 🥹

Indeed having the right people around with same mindset is key to uplifting each other
Your friend is indeed lucky to have people around that see his worth and with same mindset
