We are in the Ember months and so close to the last one filled with celebrations... I am among the people who enjoy spending those days in their room away from others, I am not a sadist just that I feel better in my company.

I Love God and will forever Love Him but been long since I attended church services and this is because of the so many false prophets everywhere and some people have turned church into business.
The last time I went to church was this year in January, their service was great and I was planning to stick with them until one day I got a call from a strange number and when I picked it up, it happened to be the pastor of the church and after the greetings he said I should see him in his office the next time I come to church, I wonder why he would want to see me if not to know me better, yea he would ask personal information and all that for what! so even though I went to the church the next Sunday, I did not go to his office and slowly I lost interest in the church too.
I spent last year's Christmas alone in my apartment, my fiancee traveled home, but it seems this Christmas would be different because my nephews already asked me if they can come and spend it with me in case my fiancee traveled home again, I am yet to give them an answer but it is looking like I am going to have to succumb to their demand.
The year 2024 was a tough one for many people, inflation got the best of us, and prices of goods and services skyrocketed, it is our savings saving us and most of the money earned is being spent on food but our case is better than those who got kidnapped, robbed or lost their life...

Aside the Christmas, there is a special outing am looking forward to, in the gym center I do go, they hosted an outing to the beach, it costs 30k for the men and 25k for the ladies and I plan to go with my babe since she has been asking for such a thing but Mr is busy investing all the money in crypto as bullrun is so close and can't just be staring at coins pumping while I have nothing to sell. So the Gym outing is a good opportunity to flex life a bit, I will get to feel the ocean again since last year January which was the last time I visited.
On Christmas day, I plan to have a delicious meal cooked in my apartment, it will be jollof and turkey to celebrate the existence of Jesus Christ, nothing much will happen that day except for the food.

I think you should give one Bible believing church another opportunity and it's not compulsory that you must attend all the services, I think God is interested in us doing his will and being free from sin.
Anyway, this year is probably the most expensive year I've seen, Tinubu really did this one to us and there are people who cannot even afford to feed well because of all the inflation..
In reality, a few months now, the bull market will hit it's apex and I think anyone who doesn't have enough liquidity will have to wait another 4 years.

Most people doing offline jobs can't eat what they like because the money they earn isn't even enough to pay bills... people are suffering, and only a few earning huge amounts can boast that they are doing well for themselves... Online job saves a lot of people...
Hmm as for the church, I tried two churches here already, the first one I didn't like how they conduct their service, I don't feel my spirit there and the second one that I love their service is the one the pastor is poke nosing...

Right at the moment thinking about festival celebrations creates fear because of the high price of every good. I don't know too much about Christmas too much as in my country it's not a matter of celebration but I wish for you to celebrate it well and hope it will bring happiness to your life.
