I have great respect for all parents, It is not easy as a mother to carry a child for nine months in the womb, many changes happen to their body at this time, more belly fat and others but they don't care, having a child is important than the change that happen to their body.
Some people really want to become a father but then they are scared of the responsibilities that come with it, Something happened to me a while ago, I thought I was going to become a father, It was good news but for a few minutes, I was scared, can't really think of the reason behind the fear, probably fear of the unknown....
My goal in life is to make sure that my children do not have to face the ordeal I faced, being sent back home from school because of school fees, not having textbooks and sometimes notebooks for some subjects, taking little money to school for food, as much as all these taught me a great lesson about life, I don't want my children to go through the same thing...
My father made a very big mistake and that is marrying more than one wife. This did not only create enmity it also led to not having enough resources to take care of his children because we are many, and some of the responsibilities fall on the shoulders of the mother...
Regardless of his mistakes, He is a good father, and I still want him to be my father in my next life because, amidst it all, he never jokes about the welfare of his children, he loves every one of us. We are humans and prone to make mistakes but as humans, we can also learn from the mistakes of others and not commit the same mistake.
Having a child is not something to be taken lightly anymore because of Inflation, Everything is so costly now, baby food costs a fortune, the diapers and every other necessity for the upbringing of the child are hella expensive but I am mentally and financially prepared to have one.
I am going to make sure he/she doesn't lack the good things that make life enjoyable for kids, I will love him with everything but I am not going to spare the rod where necessary, this depends on his mum though, If both parents are soft towards the child, that child can be spoilt, it is necessary to create a balance, it is either the mum is strict and if she is not, I would be the one to be strict yet still loving towards him.
Education is the best legacy a parent can leave for his kids, so I will make sure to help my children attain the height they want to reach, am not going to force any of them to go for any profession they don't like, it would be the one they want because success lies where our passion is.
Their destiny is in their hands, I am their guardian to show them the right path in getting to their destination and I won't fail in my duty as a father so they can wish for me as a father in their next life too.

Men being a parent is not easily especially in these times, sometimes after cheating some bills I do call my parents to tell them thank you for all you have done.
it is not easy at all, our parent are super human for rearing us in this economy
