Currency is the rate at which something is valued, and it can also mean anything that can be used to facilitate a transaction. I heard about time being money years ago but never understood what it actually means. It was when I began to observe how the world works that I finally came to appreciate that indeed time is the real deal.
Everything is about time, and it's one resource that every one of us has. We can give it away for free or make it transact, bringing value to us. It's the reason why people wake up every morning to show up at work, just putting their time to good use and receiving money in return.
In essence, they are offering their time that they could have used on something else to a job they believe will pay them for their time usage. So, we can only appreciate the value of time when we put it into good practical use. Our time resources can be exploited as well, and this is what businesses are after.
We see this exploitation even more within the social media landscape where people now spend most of their time. Living in this era where the internet has presented to us many media platforms used for several things makes it hard for us to ignore it.
Everyone, at some point, would have to turn on their data, check what's going on on Facebook, Instagram, and others or to see what's happening around the world.In all of these engagements of any kind on any online platform, time is the main issue.
Talking about the time one wouldhave to spend online, we can only look at Hive where most us constantly explore on a daily basis. We can begin looking at the balance between time invested in Hive and the returns received, we can also examine whether the efforts put into community enagegements of all kinds are justified by the rewards and overall experience.

Time is indeed the real deal, as it is an invaluable resource in life. Spending it where we will get a good return is being strategic with our lives and I think Hive offers that much better than traditional social media.
