Having a busy day today then something dropped into my mind which I feel it something I need to share up to everyone. It is clearly known that almost all humans is engaged in one business or the other. Even if you are not the owner of the business, you will be a worker.
INTRODUCTION
Vividly, there's more to the marketing which we might not know. Marketing goes beyond walking from one place to another to create awareness of your product. As a matter of fact, technology as made it easy for everyone. We can market our business or product in the comfort of our houses without moving out of the house.
MARKETING can be defined as the process or procedure that helps in generating awareness to the public about a product or business. Organizations you see out there are popular and known due to their marketing strategies. A business owner expecting an increase in his/her business needs a sound marketing strategy.
Let's use Coca-Cola as a case study.
Coca-Cola's company started some years back, and now they are known to the whole world. At times names of the business can go extra mile than a business itself, that's through their marketing strategy. People vividly prefer Coca-Cola to other products not only because of the taste but also because of their marketing strategy.
I want us to know big organization out there started small, but they came out big now due to the marketing process. Have come to understand something, that Nigerians love tasting something new. Marketing is one of the bedrocks of the successful business.
MARKETING PROCESS
One of the marketing processes is through social media. 80% of humans are on social media. A business owner can start publicizing their business through Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter etc. Start from that and make it constant. Keeping posting about your business, your services and convincing why they need to test your business. Remember, we are in the competitive market, so your marketing strategy will determine how your business will grow.
Secondly, make sure your business is registered. That's very key, a business that needs enlargement must be registered. That would give you an edge in the competitive market. No matter what your business looks like, it needs to be registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Thirdly, create a fascinating banner and billboard which will entails your job and services which will be posted in different places in the state and beyond.
Fourthly, make sure you do a cool and beautiful job for your clients. Do not start your business with disappointment. This will help your clients to refer you to friends and family.
Lastly, advertise your business on television channels, gotv channels, DStv channels and on the radio. This will help as well to be known to the public.
In conclusion, starting up a business requires capital. Therefore marketing strategy needs capital. But after investing in the business you get more profits as people get to know about the business and get good services.
Remember, as a business owner, Marketing is significant for business growth, do not take it for levity.
