Truthfully there are a lot of privileges and benefits attached to be an adult but the reason why people feel so burdened by it is due to the responsibility attached to it. Moreover being adult means you get to be solely responsible for every wrong choices you make and most times the consequences are devastating which might seem like a very huge price to pay for having the freewill to make your decisions.
