I know what you're thinking, Really what are you thinking?.
In all the activities I've participated in on the Hive discord channel or on Hive blockchain, I really haven't seen a virtual book club activity.
Best I have seen is,; write about a topic, talk about a topic, vote on a topic, share a post, and play a game. They are all pretty good you know a good way to engage.
But have you ever thought "What if things are done differently, what if things are learned differently, what if there is a way we can impact something in Hivers lives, something practicable that can change a person's life and mindset.
The Deal;
There is no doubt Book clubs are a very clear way to deepen relationships, encourage discussions and meet new and great people all over the world.
Launching and hosting a book club in the community will not only help members develop both personally and professionally, but it will also help them to think differently and sharpen their mindset even more to things around the world.
It's a really simple activity really, all the members just have to do is to read a particular book maybe for two months, presumably one chapter per week for two months.
Then on a scheduled day once a week, readers have to come together on the Hive Ghana discord channel and discuss their ideas, ask each other questions, give feedback, share their understanding, and share lessons learnt from experience related to that chapter.
This way readers will learn alot and can implement the things discussed in their daily lives. .
In most cases the meeting works if there is a leader or person who guides the discussion with prompt and questions.
Pick a book.
Do you think I'm talking about buying hardcopies? Nahhhh. They are thorns of virtual interesting books online we can pick from, Thank God for technology.
Diffinantely people have different forms of interest in the kinda of books they love reading. Different varieties of books can be given to members to vote for the one that suits their interest, the book with the highest vote will be the reading circle for that month or two.
My best guess should be focussing on personal development, success, business books or any forms of books that will change a reader's life. Love and romance books are totally ruled off in my opinion don't know about you?….
When the community is picking a book it should be books with lengthy chapters, 4-8 chapters will be preferable so as not to bore the members with books that have unforeseen never ending chapters.

Amazing. Having a book club in a community is always interesting and an opportunity to widen one´s knowledge, meet great people and share ideas together. I love when there are people to motivate us into doing something and knowing well that we´d give feedback, it gears us into action. But why don´t you want romance and love books? Lol
