RE: The duties of a man

in HiveGhana6 days ago

I would prefer we see marriage in the light of day, not as olden times, a lot as changed since then, this is a modern world were a lot of old things don't apply, to enjoy marriage well, both the man and his wife must come to the place of understanding, both in supporting each other as the need be, meanwhile also understanding the place of love and submission as outlined in the bible

Sort:

but we have a high rate of divorce in the new light of marriage, cos things ain't working out, our grandparents were tolerant of each other and also committed to their partner unlike now...

Understanding each other indeed matters and it includes everyone knowing their duties

about devorce ...i dont understand whats going on any more, before we hear these stories from western world but it has easily crip into African culture, not to talk of our celebrities...

you are right cause right now i feel due to the shared responsibility and civilisation of things women no longer umderstand their place of submission and loyalty to carryout their marrital duties they now feel equal to the man, unlike those days of our fathers, were RESPECT AND LOYALTY was the order of the day
