What has Hive taught me?
Answering this question would probably make me sound like a broken record to people who keep tabs on my blog because I have said this over and again and I won’t stop because as the day goes by my admiration for the blockchain keeps growing as well as the lessons I learn daily.

Hive has taught me that supporting or lending a helping hand to other people doesn't depreciate one, but increases one and leaves a long-lasting smile on whoever got helped.
Hiveans makes supporting people look so easy, how do I just drop an honest and simple comment on your post and you decide to not just like my comment but decide to check my blog as well, and subsequently, we become friends? The next time you like a post of mine you decide to promote it without me not even knowing.
How do you explain delegation? That alone is a full topic on its own, delegation for me is like a capital, you lend someone a certain amount as their capital to grow their account, how do you trust people you don’t know with this capital? A lot of these delegators have absolutely no idea of what their delegations do for newbies on Hive.
Hive has taught me that no matter how broken the conventional social media is you can still make genuine friendships here and guess what? These friends you make are the ones that actually keep you here other than the rewards, I don’t know about others but seeing Hiveans drop warm and sweet comments on my posts just makes me wanna write again and again, and seeing my friends grow on Hive challenges me to grow as well.
Hive has taught me that the “supporting spirit” sort of grows on you over time in the course of your journey here.
Recently I was delegated a huge chunk of HP and honestly getting such HP on my own would have taken me two years but I got it for just being nice and respectful to someone. I was struggling to get used to the whole voting mana thingy whilst I was trying to get a hang of it my main focus was on the amount I give to my friends when I upvote them, curation rewards are great, but what gladdens my heart is when I patiently wait for my voting mana to recharge properly and I hit the like button and my friends get notified that I was able to give them something, makes me happy.
Show me any other social media platform that is willing to support folks from different countries to attend a program organized by the platform and I will wait!!
More so, while I have been learning new things here, I have had to unlearn some things as well.
Hive has taught me so many things, from finance to cross-culture, fiction, emotional intelligence, DIY, etc.
Taking a peek into Hiveans' life is wonderful, as you are opportune to learn how they are able to handle certain things.

Prior to this time, I did not see writing as something I would venture into, I usually wrote about only memorable moments in my diary, I remember when I newly joined Hive, I would have to look at a topic for days before I could come up with something tangible but now the narrative is different.
One thing I do is that I don’t keep all the knowledge I gain from navigating Hive to myself I try to teach my non-Hive friends too and frankly speaking they are tired of hearing “Hive” from me 😂😂 one of my friends literally changed my name on his phone to “Hive Queen”😂😂
I pray I don’t lose the Hive spirit any time soon because I am sure as hell enjoying and learning so many things here.
I want to keep showing up again and again and not just as a regular Hivean but one whose impact would be felt on the blockchain.

The hive is an amazing place and everything you said is absolutely true. I learned a lot here in terms of living in a community, helping members, supporting with comments, votes and reblogs, giving tips that everyone can improve.
