It is true that in life that we attain various successes and at the same time get involved in various failures. The road to self- improvement is strewn with both opportunities and obstructions self-improvement is the process in which people aim to better themselves and progress towards becoming who they want to be on the various steps that are taken during this process how one copes with such challenges determines the amount of improvement one will achieve. In this world no one can escape failure but as to how one respond to failure is different from the other. Some people may give up when they have failed, some get a feeling of depression, sadness, and others can get defeated completely. Thus, the question of how to act in failure conditions and to use them as a basis for success arises.

**1. Good risks should be accepted in the sense that failure is also a good lessons learnt.

Below are some quotes in which the author tries to put into perspective that failure is not the end but the beginning of a new lesson. While experiencing some form of a defeat, one should never feel that they have been defeated permanently, instead, a person should consider it as feedback, as a way of identifying the things that did not work. Each disaster requires one to ask oneself some questions that will enable one to establish what one needs to learn from the calamity. This way of thinking can change the perception of failure from something negative to something positive that may aid learning.

2. Practice Self-Compassion

One must be courteous to oneself when handling failure in particular. Everyone often tends to focus on his or her shortcomings and even worse, punish ourselves for them while self-compassion entails treating your self as you would offer your best friend. Do not forget people fail at some point in their lives and failing is designed in human beings’ destiny.

3. Reframe Your Perspective

It shows that how you look at failure largely determines how you will be handling it. Instead of wallowing over why you have failed, try and see it as being a process that takes some time. Changing the way you think can assist you in being more on the positive side and have the drive to continue to try.

4. Set Realistic Goals

Expectations are likely to deceive you, especially if they are inflated. The goals should be realistic and should be seen in segments of accomplishment steps rather than big leaps. Smaller goal is easier to achieve and accomplishing each of them means minimizing the chance of failure while at the same time encourage more progress in achieving your objective.

5. Build a Support Network

It is also important for any person, regardless of his position, to have friends or family or some other kind of support in terms of accepting failure. Tell it to them and ask them for suggestions and moral support. It also helps to just describe your problems and sometimes hearing yourself say it out loud can provide great comfort and new way of thinking.

6. Develop Resilience Through Practice

It is quite clear that the levels of resilience can be learnt and therefore be enhanced progressively. Participate in tasks that take you out of your comfort zone and that make you develop resilience. Ability to face failure can be developed with the help of special training, such as resilience training and other techniques that develop the ability to be mindful and manage stress.

**7. Another useful approach to teaching critical thinking skills is the so-called ‘Focus on the Process Not the Product’.

Breathing on the outcome of an event may not be as fruitful especially when the planned proceedings fail to go as planned. But instead of doing that, try considering that your focus should be on the process, and the work you are doing. If you have the right perspective in that the process and effort you put in are important, it will help to not give up even when the results are not what was hoped for.

Conclusion

It is impossible to avoid failure in life but this is a good place to understand that reaction dictates the next move. Consequently, failure can be brought into operation as an opportunity for motivation; self-kindness attitude instead of beating ourselves up; reconsideration; setting achievable targets; seeking people’s help, constructing coping and support system; strengthening the spirit of tenacity and concentration on process rather than the outcomes. In other words, life is never a flow of a straight line from one goal to another; it is, in fact, the journey that matters: how you behave on the rough road is significant.

Thanks for stopping by.
Best wishes ❤️.

Exactly, I like the reframing part. Personally, failure is not real. I don’t think it exists. It’s all on us to choose if our lowest moment will be categorized as failure or a chance to start at fresh.
