I have so many wishes for this Christmas, and honestly, I would be very excited if Santa could surprise me. For me, this year has been filled with challenges and little victories, and as we approach the festive season, I find myself dreaming of things that could bring me true happiness and convenience.
One of my biggest wishes this Christmas is to see my brother who lives in the UK. It has been years since I last saw him, and I miss him so much. We grew up so close, and having him around always brought so much joy to the family. But now, with the distance and everyone caught up in their own lives, it’s been hard to reconnect physically. If Santa could somehow bring him back to Nigeria for Christmas, it would mean the world to me. Just imagining us sitting together, sharing stories, eating delicious Christmas meals, and laughing like we used to warms my heart. It would bring back the feeling of unity and love that Christmas should always be about. I don’t know how Santa could manage this miracle, but I believe in surprises, and this would be the ultimate one for me.
Another thing I truly wish for is a laptop. As a university student, not having a laptop has been one of the most stressful challenges I’ve faced. It’s hard to explain just how much having one would make my life easier. I remember vividly when I was working on a presentation recently. I had to borrow a friend’s laptop to do my work. While I was grateful for his help, it wasn’t an ideal situation. He also needed to use his laptop, which meant I had to work around his schedule. Sometimes, I couldn’t finish my work on time, and that led to delays and a lot of frustration. On his side, it was also inconvenient because he had to wait for me to finish before he could use his own device. It wasn’t just uncomfortabe and made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be.
Having my own laptop wouldn’t just help with schoolwork and projects; it would also open up other opportunities for me. I have always wanted to continue to learn how to code, but without a laptop, it feels like almost impossible at the moment . A laptop would allow me to explore so many things, from learning new skills to working on personal projects that could potentially earn me some extra income. It would make presentations, research, and other academic activities so much easier. I wouldn’t have to depend on anyone or feel rushed when working. Honestly, just thinking about how much a laptop would improve my life fills me with excitement. Having a laptop is a necessity at this point in my life.
So, Santa, if you’re listening, these are my biggest Christmas wishes. Having my brother home would bring joy and love to our family, while a laptop would ease my academic struggles and help me achieve my personal goals. I know it might seem like I’m asking for a lot, but these two things would truly make this Christmas unforgettable for me. Sometimes, it’s the little things—or, in this case, the big ones—that make all the difference. And who knows? Maybe this year, Santa will work his magic and turn these wishes into reality.
Okay, I was thinking you’d say if Santa could rather send you to UK to see your brother. I was expecting what you said😂
Lol sending me to UK would actually be nice. I mean I have never been there before but then is not me that misses him no. My mum and siblings do as well so I have to consider them as well
Okay that makes a lot of sense.
Yeah it does. Asides from that,I honestly can wait to atleast travel there someday for sure in my bucket list. What about you??
I tag into your laptop wish.
