Hello everyone!
I cannot count how many times I have poured out my heart against the trend of crime in society, which has been practically accepted by citizens as a way of living. I am talking about internet fraud, which has increased drastically in recent years. A lot of us, including parents who are supposed to shun such acts and guide their children, are now pushing them into it—to practically go and steal from the internet and bring the money home.

No lies, surviving in a country like mine is very tough. Nothing is guaranteed, not even a graduate with the best results is assured of getting employed. This is why youths and young ones have fully launched into internet fraud as a means of survival, and it is being applauded.
This issue is not just happening in isolation; it has increased the rate of crime even in our immediate environment, despite the fraud being targeted at people in foreign lands. In case you are wondering how it has contributed to the rise in crime in our society, internet fraud is not done with mere intelligence alone. A lot of those involved engage in diabolical practices, which many times require human beings or special parts of the human body to be used. This has, in turn, increased the rate of kidnappings and killings.
Not just that, youths nowadays are no longer interested in searching for employment, which is hard to get anyway, nor are they interested in learning a skill. They have poured all their interest and lifestyle into internet fraud. I remember visiting my home church when I traveled last year for the Christmas break. I was surprised to see that the church no longer had a staff. I asked the pastor why they had not been able to employ anyone, and he said that nobody in the church was willing to work. None of them see the pay as reasonable anymore because almost all the young boys in the church are involved in internet fraud.
Let me tell you, I once worked as a staff member in the church when I was at home and seeking admission into the university. That was the job I used to sort out money for my admission process. The pay was very small then, but it was still useful. Right now, I am sure the pay must have tripled, yet no one wants to get employed to do the work. That is how badly society is suffering from this change and the dominance of internet fraudsters in our community.
The worst part is that there is no sign that things are going to get better regarding the dominance of internet fraudsters in society. With the way things are looking, I cannot even imagine what our society will be like in 10 years if this continues. Who knows? Maybe the young ones—the teenagers—will discard school and settle for internet fraud because that is what is paving the way for people.

The current state of my country is nothing to be proud of. No cap, i really love my country, but then, I think some people, mostly leaders, needs to be purged out.
And the purging out, is it even possible? No! Those ancient people do not want to give up the throne to younger set of people. They keep rotating the same style of leadership 🥲
That's the major problems. They have a vast network of connection that makes it impossible to purge them out.
