MY PERSONAL REFLECTION ON ABORTION.

We live in a world where everyone wants to claim rights—right to this and right to that. Of course, it is not inherently wrong to desire freedom, but sometimes people misuse and abuse this so-called freedom or rights.

I have seen some videos on the topic of abortion, a subject that has always been a contentious debate. One side argues that abortion should be illegal because the child has the right to live, while the other side contends that it should be legal because the woman has the right to decide what to do with her body.

This debate strikes me as multifaceted because neither side is perfect; they both have a ‘but’. It ultimately depends on one’s perspective and reasoning, everyone has their take on abortion. Personally, I don’t support abortion. I believe it is getting rid of someone’s life.

I strongly believe in the adage “Prevention is better than Cure”. Regardless of any justification a woman might offer, whether claiming that it is a mistake or she is not ready and unprepared, doesn’t count to me. If you couldn’t avoid it, then you should be an adult and take responsibility.

As far as I am concerned, the only people who can still be quite considered are the victims of rape. The only abortion that can be allowed are those situation where the pregnancy is endangering the mother’s life.

But if a woman should called an unplanned child a ‘mistake’ when she is the one that had unprotected sex that eventually became the so-called ‘mistake’ then she should bear the ‘mistake’ because the ‘mistake’ now has a right to life!

Some will say, “Oh, but it is still unborn. So, it is not yet a human.” Life at a foetus level is a biological a human. I mean, it could have become a human if she had kept it!

Some will say, “ it is my body I have the right to do what I want. I choose whether to keep the baby or not.” It is not just your right anymore; you have baby in you, and its right can’t be neglected.

Many people might have different opinions on this, but it is just my own perception. Regardless, If such thing should happen to me, I would definitely keep the baby.

Morally, it is generally unacceptable. Religiously, it is unacceptable. Personally, it is unacceptable. I won’t advise anyone to get rid of a baby (a human-to-be); in some ways, I see this as exercising power over the inferior.

I don’t agree that abortion should be legal. As I have said, when people have too much freedom, they abuse it. If we give freedom to abortion, trust me, it will be abused.

Some believe those children will live miserable lives, but some them actually turn out to be successful. To be fair, whether a child was a mistake or not, there will always be those who turn out successful and those who don’t . It is called life.

It is quite painful that many people lose their lives due to unprofessional abortions, especially the young ones who are too scared for their parents to find out.

I had a lecture on how abortions can later play a role in miscarriages. I am not going deep into this, but it involves the rhesus factor of the mother and the baby. This is not really a serious issue, but there are some people who ignorant to this and other things concerning abortion.

In conclusion, I personally don’t support or advise abortion, but I still would not judge those who choose to.

Immediately the two chromosome clicked together, they turn to a living soul and that is what most people fail to understand, they keep in wasting what they can't create.

Just because it has not being born. They believe it is not killing.

I agree with you one must be able to accept his responsibilities. Prevention is better than cure. Abortion should only be allowed in case of pregnancy in rape and when the mother's life is in danger.

You dont just pregnant with taking some actions. So one have to bear the responsibility.

Exactly

It’s so true.
Most abortions have resulted to death because the children were scared to inform their parents about it.

Most of them, just want to get rid of the baby without thinking through.
