WHAT HIVE TAUGHT ME

in HiveGhanalast year

The difference between an open-minded person and their opposite lies in the ability to see beyond the immediate appearance of an object. Since joining this platform about three months ago, I have learned a series of things that extend not only to my posts but also to my daily lifestyle.

As an undergraduate in FUNAAB , a student in an Arabic school, a business owner, the general secretary for two different campus organizations, and the public relations officer of my department, my schedule is demanding, but I firmly believe that engaging in various activities aids in effective time management.
Indirectly, Hive has taught me how to manage my time effectively. Regardless of my commitments, I always find a moment to contemplate the next content to share on this platform.

Also, My writing skill has significantly improved. Yes, and this is because of the frequent posting of content. People say practice makes perfection. Writing content on this platform does not only serve as getting used to the community but also help in improving my writing skill. I could remember reading books and making reference to write an essay of just 500 words but since I started writing here, I’ve got used to writing more than that and most time I had to reduce some point to avoid making my write up look like a biology note, haha.

Furthermore, I feel a sense of belongingness on this space. My first introductory post got me a lot of comments from people I didn’t know. They all commented as if they were already waiting for me to come on board. It felt so good and I learnt to build perfect relationship with people virtually.

Lastly, hive serves as an avenue to learn more about whatever one is trying to do. There were days @mattasanthonyit makes many explanation on agriculture, he made himself clear in his posts and most times, I jot some things down because he is relating to the practical aspect of it. Also, I’ve seen many post on designing, finance, branding and the likes which is what my business needed the most.

Learning is an ongoing journey on Hive. I’ve embraced change, unlearning, and relearning. Just like Hive’s community, I’m evolving, growing, and thriving.
