Mechanisation of the 19th Hive Borehole is done! We're thrilled to say that this marks a major milestone in our program to bring clean water and improve living conditions for the poor. It also means that this not only brings added functionality to our waterworks; it brings us much closer to altering life in Ghana's northern region for over one hundred thousand people.
With mechanisation completed, this phase of the water supply system is now better able to serve local needs, giving people a reliable source of clean drinking water that improves health and is good for hygiene. Equally important, the completion of this task means another major step towards realising our great enterprise.
What is impressive about this progress is how the Hive blockchain community and local people have worked together. A cooperative attitude from community leaders and their proactive involvement are key to success. The joy and gratitude felt by the people of Agric motivates us to fulfil our avowed mission of using blockchain technology for change here and now in people’s lives.
The value of this borehole will be felt beyond the direct provision of water. It significantly reduces the burden for women and children travelling long distances to fetch water, letting them recover their own time and labour for education, independent livelihoods, and other forms of productive activity.
In the coming days we will move onto the next stages of this project, ensuring all components are in place for its smooth completion. When that day comes, we will be looking forward to, and preparing for, the dedication ceremony of the 19th Hive Borehole.
Rest assured that we will continue to give you updates on our progress. We would like to once again thank everyone who has supported this project! Together, we can prove that with determination, collaboration, and innovation, we are truly able to bring about positive change in people's lives. Stay tuned for more news of how we're moving towards the final goal.
