We recently inaugurated a new waterwell in a community in northern Ghana, generously donated by the Hive blockchain. This project significantly addresses the long-standing water challenges faced by the community.

This video highlights the joy and relief of the community members during the celebration, with one resident expressing profound gratitude for the borehole facility. She shared that the new water source will ease daily burdens, allowing children to attend school without fetching water and reducing the long distances women previously had to walk.

This initiative symbolizes hope, health, and a brighter future for the community, and we are proud to have played a role in its realization. The project's success is due to the support and contributions of many, and we aim to continue such impactful work to bring clean, accessible water to more communities in need. Watch the video to witness the heartfelt reactions and the positive transformation brought by the borehole.

Thanks so much for the support.

This is really positive heart warming news. However, I object to your use of the phrase "donated by the Hive blockchain." This doesn't make sense to me. There is no donation operation by the Hive blockchain. Donations if they happened might have been made via the Hive blockchain.

Thanks so much for the correction.

So glad to see the growing impact of this project. May it continue to bring about positive change and inspire others to do the same!

You are doing some amazing work in Ghana. I wish this will become an inspiration for many others to do the same and scale this model of helping people across the world.

Thanks for your words. I hope to see that we share and spread the power of hive to the world through these amazing life-changing initiatives.

Have you ever consideered raising the base say up to waist height so that the people don't have to stoop over to get the water? Water is heavy, and for some reason I see a lot of women having to bend over and lift these heavy containers of water instead of the much stronger men doing it.

Why aren't the men lifting the water?

I would build a base just under waist high and raise the faucets. People could walk up, slide their bucket on the platform, then carry the full bucket away, all with no bending and hurting their back over time.

My snappy salute for that great undertaking!😍💚🫰
