Hello Everyone, welcome to my Blog. I hope you're doing great?
I am excited to participate in this week's prompt and i will be writing about how one can handle and deal with failure.
Life itself is at times, unfair and unpredictable. As far as life is concerned, we are set to win and also to lose at some points. As a human being, you dare not assume that it would always be a win-win everytime, there are some times we would experience failure but, the question is, how do you go about it? We have to always get our minds ready at all times to accept failure when it comes though not everyone knows how to deal with failure.
We need to note that, as far as we are all humans, and blood is flowing through our veins, you will always experience failure in one way or the other, but how you respond to it matters a lot, and we should also remember that we are all role models to people, which means, people are looking up to us secretly on how we handle situations. We need not to allow failure to bring us down. However, it is important to recognize that failure is not an antithesis to success; rather, it is an integral part of the journey towards achieving our goals.
Failure serves as a valuable teacher, providing us with insights into areas that require improvement and prompting us to refine our strategies. Thomas Alva Edison is the perfect example whenever we are talking about failure. He failed several times while trying to invent the electric bulb. He is remembered and celebrated today because he never gave up, he was the real example of perseverance and consistency. Our success in life would be celebrated only if we never give up when failure sets in.
There are so many times I have failed in my endeavours, but that did not stop me. A good example was in my first test, in my year one, on Algebra For Science, a course I believed I was very good at, and that I could solve any problem in a twinkle of an eye. But to my greatest surprise, I had a very poor performance on that particular test. Most of us know how bad the feeling is when we score zero in a test we prepared so well for. Despite this, I never gave up. I went back and prayed to God, and ensured that I put in more effort in my studies. At the end of the day, I did exceedingly great in the tests that came up after, and perfected my scores through the examination.
My point is, there are so many times we believe that we can do anything, and then failure sets in. Don't panic, rather work harder towards correcting that failure. The big question people always ask is, "can failure lead to success?". Yes! It leads to success only when we persevere and put in more effort without giving up.
Thanks for stopping by my Blog.
