The year 2024 so far so good

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. I don't know if it is just me, but this year moved with the speed of light; it still feels like yesterday we were shouting "Happy New Year" at the top of our voices and using fireworks to celebrate the new year, and it is already ending. No doubt this year had its good times and bad times, its ups and downs, but in all we are grateful to God for the year, and there is definitely something to look back at the year and be grateful for, one thing or even more.

The year was no smooth sail; the bad government contributed to at least 90 percent of the problems people had to face in the year 2024, from high costs in the price of goods and services to high costs of transportation; everything hiked in price, causing people to stress extra to get little things done, and that alone made the year look like a very bad year, but it is not always all bad. We all had our share of the bad governance but had to find a way around it and had to learn how to live with it and deal with it without lamenting too much because lamenting is how the situation of things weighs you down.

This year I was opportune to get a few things I have always wanted to learn done; it will take time to perfect it, but I am willing to go on that adventure no matter how long it takes. I would have bagged a degree this year, but Nigeria, what it does as Nigeria, that dream did not happen. My school was shut down for about five months after a protest for the increase in school fees, and instead of staying idle, I enrolled in an online crypto class that lasted for about six months and got a certificate from the tutor. It has always been something I wanted to learn and do but never got the chance to; I don't know if it should be called a milestone, but for me it is one of the few things I achieved in the year 2024, and I will always be grateful to the year for the opportunity.

I have also enrolled in an interior designer course that will last for a year. I got the opportunity to do it, and I seized it. It is one of the few things I would say the year 2024 helped me achieve. So far, so good; adding it to my school program has not been easy, but I manage to juggle all, including online jobs, and would see it through to the end. The year 2024 was not all rosy, but I can say it did open doors to doing things I have always wanted to do.

When we go through things that make us worry, the best part is that, we are going to be thinking of a way out, it great that you achieve great things this year, I wish you success in your interior design work, cheers bro.

Thanks a lot bro. I really appreciate..

You are welcome.

Sometimes it feels like being a Nigerian is a curse 😅 but then no matter the hardship caused by the government, we always find ways to put through. Interior design and enlisting for a crypto course it seems you were on a learning spree this year.

A learning spree indeed, I have always wanted to but never got the chance but grateful to God and the year I finally got the chance.

Thanks for dropping by.

I’m so happy for you especially about the interior design course. I believe it’s one of the profitable skills these days. Cheers to more amazing stuff!

Thanks for dropping by Eve 😂. I really cannot stop calling you that.

Opportunities i believe always come and not just once as some people would say. The most important thing we need to do is to be prepared for opportunities . I'm glad your took your time to learn crypto and to acquire certificate. There is a lot more you can do with your crypto knowledge.

Crypto is a very big space, quite hard to learn it all but a little knowledge can go a long way. Thanks for your kind words sir.
