Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Sometimes I see people post online sharing the gifts they received for Christmas with the caption "Santa came early"; some of us have not seen Santa come even late lol 😂. It is that time of the year again; no one needs to be told what time it is. Christmas is one of those celebrations that does not need advertisement before the whole world knows about it. Once it is the time, you just see signs of the celebration everywhere you turn to. Offline or online, you just cannot escape it. When it comes to celebrating Christmas, how it is being celebrated varies from one individual to another, from one family to another, but all that matters is that it was celebrated and observed.
The Christmas holiday is one of the very few holidays that is observed by almost everybody; only a few people's jobs do not allow them to enjoy the holidays with family and friends. For the fact that many firms and organizations only observe the Christmas holiday, employees and workers in such firms and organizations always look forward to the Christmas holiday as it is their only escape route and only resting period. Christmas is also the only time of the year we get to meet loved ones; everyone is all busy doing their own thing and only gets a free time during the Christmas holiday, which is why many family celebrations are fixed during this time of the year, as everyone is expected to have a few days or weeks off work or school.
For this Christmas I have so many things that I wish Santa would bring me; first of all, I wish for an opportunity to spend quality time with my family. We have all been apart for about 8 months now; the funny thing is when we are apart, we tend to miss each other, but when we are together, it is World War III. Been apart for months, and now it feels like it has been ages. They plan on spending Christmas in our hometown, and I hope there is no change of plans because of the way things are going.
I also wish for the wisdom to make better choices and decisions this Christmas and not make a mistake I will end up regretting. Many people make mistakes that affect them all through the new year, all in the name of celebrating. In most cases, it is always a financial mistake, and they end up paying the price and struggle to attain financial stability in the new year. Attaining financial stability can take one ages, but losing it, you only need a few minutes, and it is all gone. I also wish for a better laptop, one with a better graphics card to help me pursue some of my dreams as well as serve me better.
