Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today's topic is from Hive-Ghana. So let's dive into it.
As the year is fast approaching, the weather changes, and people everywhere start to feel it. If we get to some places, it's getting colder, while in other places, it's getting warmer or even rainy.Here in Lokoja, in the morning it would get cold, in the afternoon it would get hotter because of the sun, while in the night the heat won't allow us to sleep in peace.
Sometimes we do feel frustrated and angry because this is the time Nepa should be giving us light, and we should be enjoying it, but even if Nepa brings the light, it would be low current; even to charge a phone is now a problem.People who would be enjoying this weather season are those people who have solar at home because they won't feel anything, especially the heat.
How am I coping with the weather?
People, including me, have different ways of coping with changing weather, whether it's hot, cold, or a mix. But I would love to list out how am coping with the weather;
(1) I always put on warmer clothes like sweaters or jackets when I see it's cold, because it helps me stay warm without feeling too cold or uncomfortable. In hot weather, I always put on light clothes, such as a singlet, in order for me to stay cool and avoid sweating too much.
(2) Anytime I see that it's getting cold, like I said earlier, it's either I put on a sweater or I use my blanket to stay indoors. When I see that it's hot, it's either I use my hand fan to fan myself, open my windows, or open my door so that I will enjoy the breeze.
(3) When I see it's cold, I sometimes drink hot tea, like Nescafe or chocolate, to warm up my insides, while in hot weather, I always drink cold water to stay refreshed and avoid overheating.
(4) When I see my skin is dry in both hot and cold weather, I always apply lotion so that it would prevent my body from becoming rough and itchy.
(5) Anytime I feel thirsty, I always drink water; if I feel tired, I rest, and if I feel cold, I always put on a sweater.

Tips to stay healthy in weather season..
There are a lot of tips to stay healthy during weather season, and I would love to list them;
(1) Our body needs water in order to stay energized and hydrated. So if we see that the weather is hot, cold, or a mixture, let us make sure to drink enough water throughout the day. So if we drink enough water, we will avoid being weak.
(2) In cold weather let us put on our sweaters in order to get warm, while in hot weather, let us wear light clothes in order to stay cool.
(3) Let us always apply lotion on our skins to avoid itchy or rough.
In conclusion, dealing with the weather is all about making little changes to stay comfortable. When it's cold, let's put on sweaters and have a hot tea to drink, and while it's hot, let us put on light clothes, but by doing all these we will feel healthy in such weather season.
