Growth is a very inevitable concept of every living things,
As far as you are alive, you are bound to grow.
As Human Being there are many dimensions of growth:
We grow physically, where we started from being a foetus, then into a baby and then adolescent and then adults, after which we then eventually grow old and finally die.
We can also grow Emotionally, this can differ from physical growth, it dell with how we handles emotions and feelings.
We can also grow spiritually, psychologically and many more.
Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on my journey and celebrate how far I've grown. Life has its ups and downs, but looking back, I'm amazed at the progress I've made.
Being a very young enthusiastic boy that was born in Lagos Nigeria,
There are a lot dreams I have, a lot of aspirations, a lot of circumstances that have the capacity to make or break me, there are a lot of people, special people, permanent people, temporary people, friends, family and Colleagues.
As I sit here, thinking about my journey, I'm reminded of the power of growth and transformation. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of how far we've come. But taking the time to reflect on our journey can be incredibly powerful.
Was I born with a silver spoon?
Definitely no, I grow up to the struggle of life, my parents aren't poor either but we are not extremely rich, they tried their best to bring me up in the very most Godly and responsible way ever. They made sure I go to school and have the best education according to their power, I attended both Private and secondary school. Enjoying the luxury of the experience from both, I also went to the University and I also went for the compulsory 1 year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). The success and growth story, keeps going on and here I am today.
(Throwback pics from the year 2008)
I was lost and uncertain about my place in the world. I felt like I was just going through the motions of life without any real purpose or direction.
But I've discovered my purpose thanks to God's Gifts and Grace now I am living a life that truly reflects who I am. I'm passionate about what I do, and I feel like I'm making a real difference in the world.
Singing, Teaching and Micromanaging seems to be like a gift that put me to sit on the Table before kings.
Just Before I was held back by fear and self-doubt. I was afraid to take risks and pursue my dreams.
But Now I've learned to trust myself and my abilities. I'm taking bold steps towards my goals, and I'm not letting fear hold me back.
When I was still in My doubting stage, I was constantly comparing myself to others and feeling like I was lacking.
Now I've learned to focus on the present moment and appreciate what I have. I'm grateful for every experience, every lesson, and every person who's helped shape me into who I am today.
Here is what I've Learned about growth
Looking back, I've learned that growth is a journey, not a destination. It's the small, consistent steps we take every day that add up to make a big difference.
I've also learned that growth requires patience, kindness, and compassion – towards ourselves and others. It's okay to make mistakes and stumble along the way. That's all part of the journey.
In conclusion
Despite the ups and downs, I can honestly say that life is good. It's not perfect, but it's mine, and I'm grateful for every experience, every lesson, and every person who's helped shape me into who I am today.
What ever you do just Remember, growth is a journey, not a destination. It's okay to take things one step at a time, and to focus on progress, not perfection.
