All of us are in the race of making our lives better. That is why we wake up early in the morning, some as early as 4:00am in order to catch early bus and to beat traffic. Some of us go to bed as late as 12am. Why do we go through all this stress? If you take a good look at it, we don’t spend the big part of this money on ourselves, rather, we use it to take care of the people we care about. We want to make money to provide for our needs and to cater for our loved ones, kids, parents, spouses and so on. So I would like to believe we go through all the stress of life in order to make live better for ourselves and the people we love. If so, then there is the need to ask this question, ‘What is the need of having money if not to spend it with/on the ones we love? I chose to write about this passage as a result of a movie I saw this weekend. The title of the movie is ‘Stalked by my neighbor’ which is based on a true story.
There was this lady named Lisa who colluded with her boyfriend to kill her aunt in order to have her properties and money. She happened to be the sole beneficiary on the aunt’s will. Her aunt was into real estates and had made a fortune for herself, unfortunately, she didn’t have a family of her own. It was believed she was worth $4 million USD when she was murdered. Lisa’s boyfriend killed the aunty inside her bathroom near her bathtub to make it look like she slipped and hit her head on the bathtub. The police initially assumed it was an accident until forensic checks and autopsy report revealed otherwise. Lisa and her boyfriend framed an innocent neighbor for the murder. They secretly hid the murder weapon in the neighbor’s garage which was uncovered by the police in a house search and hence the neighbor was arrested. The neighbor was a suspect in the case because he was seen a number of times in heated moments exchanging words with the aunt when she complained about his excessive noise making.
To cut the story short, police got the evidence needed to arrest Lisa. The evidence was a video recording made by another neighbor named Jodi. Jodi and her mum had moved to this neighborhood not long ago. Jodi would secretly take pictures and videos of her neighborhood, and hence the title, this was after someone broke into her former apartment. Oh and I forget, Lisa later killed her boyfriend so she would have the money and properties all to herself.
I couldn’t believe someone would go this length just to have money. Prior to killing her aunt, Lisa apparently killed her own mom so that she could move into her aunt’s home to execute her plan. Wickedness at its best! It doesn’t make sense to me, to have money, then turn around and all your loved ones are nowhere to be found. Of course, we can make other people’s life better but the joy in making a parent, a relative, a spouse or a child proud is on another level.
In our quest to making a living and making our lives better, we must be very careful about the choices we make. I don’t believe we will get the satisfaction and fulfillment in life if we become rich at the expense of another person’s life. Believe it all not we shall face all the consequences of our actions, and if you believe in afterlife judgment, you might also want to be on the good side of the laws.

Interesting it's good to have money which enables you progress in life such as acquiring properties, education, having vacations and good health. But the question is how you got that money.

Lisa needs to be checked, I think something is wrong with her, and the people had no idea. May God protect us in everywhere we are.
