Looking at our society now, there is a great doubt in the heart of many people about education as being a key to success, seeing that our society is filled with many graduates yet having nothing to offer, and others had to engage in any form of domestic jobs on the street just as a means of survival, some had to go extra mile just to fend for their families and for themselves, which ought not to be so.
Our society now believes that success is not attained by our level of educational qualifications, rather it's all about engaging the creativity power where our society has positioned us. And I discovered that it's not based on what we study again in school that matters, rather it's about what we can offer for the impact of ourselves as well as the society.
And it becomes a serious problem that the educated go to work for the uneducated calling them sir and ma just to put food on their table, this leaves a big question in the heart of our next generation concerning education as the key to success, because they tend to see the opposite of it, but not without, and despiting all controversy in our society, education is still considered as a key to success, First we have to deeply understand what success is all about, because most people have interpreted wealth and success.
I considered wealth to be an accumulation of valuable resources over a period of time, while success on the hand is the achievement of goals, objectives, aspirations dreams e.t.c. though it can be measured in various ways, like career advancement, financial stability, personal fulfillment and even happiness.
Hence, different people have their concept about success and what constitutes them differs to different persons. Although success is one factor that birth wealth, and not otherwise. That happened to be my own concept of success.
Education is a vital component in building a successful personal and professional growth, and that plays a significant role in shaping our lives and careers, it helps in improving our knowledge and skills, thus acquiring new knowledge, skills and perspectives, which contribute to our personal and professional development, It also a factor that helps us in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential tools for navigating complex challenges and making informed decisions, it's a factor that develops and it fosters better and effective communication skills, which happens to be critical for success both in personal and our professional settings.
Education also increased and boosts our confidence and self-esteem, helping us to pursue our goals and aspirations with greater enthusiasm and determination also through it, we can foster innovative and entrepreneurial opportunities, helping us to develop new ideas and turn them into reality, developing a lifelong learning mindset that cannot be taken from us, which is essential for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in our society, also giving us an opportunity to participate and make wealth through them with ease.
Nothing has really changed as far as education is concerned, but many people have failed to understand the current trend and demands of our society, acquiring knowledge and developing our skills never stops in school, rather it's a journey that continues for a lifetime if we really want to be relevant in our society, but most people solely depend and become limited to what they have learnt in school, but our society needs more than what we just studied in school, but it's to grow and improve in our knowledge, skills and blend with what our society wants at a particular time. We have to learn more and outside what we have already known or learnt.
