Welcome to my blog.
It's often said that "failure to plan, is planning to fail", That happens to be true, from personal experience, that planning is one factor that helps us to execute and achieve more, than days we don't plan, and planning is one of the criteria in finding a balance. Thus, balancing normal life with work is one of the challenges that many faced including me, and it's important for us to find a balance that works suitably for us, though I've discovered mine.
Work is a significant part of our lives, and finding balance in this area is crucial. It's important to push ourselves to achieve goals and pursue our passions, but not at the expense of our well-being and enjoyment of the journey. Thus, striking a balance between normal life and work life is all about setting up plans and setting right priorities, creating a designated time for work and time for personal activities, and striving to honor these boundaries and priorities as much as possible, also try to avoid bringing work-related tasks or stress into my personal time, and vice versa, also learning to say "No" to certain things, which happens to be a powerful skill when it comes to maintaining this.
So many factors affected me in previous years, thus stepping into this new year I made up my mind to be intentional about myself as well as my work life, one of such factors is setting a clear distinction between my work and my personal life that is setting boundaries rightly as earlier mentioned, and other core factors.
Spending some time reflecting on what is most important to me and making my top priorities for both work and home to be achieved by creating a more equal work-life balance, then evaluating these priorities will enable me to determine where to invest more or less time, as well as what i ought to change.
Hence, I also tried to be mindful of my workload and also learned to say "no" to some requests that does not aligned with my priorities both as well as others. Also being realistic about what I want to accomplish in a day, as well as the year by setting goals that are achievable and it aligns with my priorities, also try to manage my time effectively which happens to be my core factor, because time waits for no one.
With this balance I believe to improve my productivity, motivation, reduces stress, anxiety and depression, improve quality of life, happiness also satisfaction.
It should be in my conscious mind that, finding a balance between my work life and my normal life is a continuous process that requires effort, intentionality, and self-care, thus, by prioritizing my well-being and setting these clear boundaries, I tend to achieve a better balance, improving my overall quality of life, well-being and happiness.
