Hello everyone on this noble platform, I am very excited to write and share this wonderful article with you all and I hope that you guys will enjoy reading it as well. So it has been like 2 weeks since this Hive Zealy campaign started and although I wasn't able to start from the first, I am trying to be among the top 100 on the leaderboard so I can equally get some of the winner's prizes. I would say it is a big opportunity for everyone to join today and also win something from the campaign due to the recovery quests available for every member no matter the time that you join the campaign.
In this post, we will be looking at some of the topics that were discussed during the Bread's show on the "topic How many communities have you seen vanish after mint?" The space was hosted by @breads and I would be sharing my idea or opinion concerning the subject of topic discussed.
So the whole idea of the space was to discuss ways and means to keep your community active after mint. First of all, you need to keep your community members engaged and to do that, you can host weekly or daily giveaways in the community so they can be more active. This is a good way of incentivizing your community members. We all understand that no one will like to concentrate his or her energy in a community where he/she doesn't gain anything from that. It will discourage them from being active participants, but once they realize that their efforts are being recognized and awarded, then that becomes a motivation for them.
Another, interesting thing a community or a project founder should consider is effective communication between themselves and their audience or customers. Leaders must try to always be in touch with their customers answering the questions they ask through feedback, and attending to support tickets as soon as possible which will show how determined and dedicated you are to the project. You must ensure that there is high security protecting your project to avoid any breaches that will discourage members from participating in your community after mint.
A lot of people will love to see the potential and vision of the project and for that matter, don't hide it from them. Make your mission and vision transparent to them, and let them understand what the whole project is about and what they will gain by being active participants and contributors to the project. Make your project decentralized and not just an authoritative one whereby you don't take decisions from your audience.
Lastly, try to partner with other communities where you can get more ideas about how to do things and have a stable and successful community. Don't be too centralized to the extent of not wanting to receive support from other communities or projects that are willing to help you out.
