I don't like pranks, some go extreme and sometimes create a bad situation that was never there. April 1st at one point while we were growing up was a day when everyone needed to be on their guard. This day was celebrated by pranking others. If one succeeded in making the other believe in all the acts, he is termed smart. I don't know who signed it into law or what made it legal, but once one was outsmarted, he had no right to ask for a refund in cases where money was involved. Gradually it became popular and just a few people fell for such pranks.
I never did any serious prank, mine was always obvious. I may have succeeded in successfully pranking one or two people, but I can't remember any at this moment. I stopped the entire prank when I heard the story of someone who lost her life in the process, and I just had to tell myself it was nothing worth practicing again. I didn't know who initiated it and it was just another way of teaching the young ones to learn to lie because it was mostly done by youths. I don't think I've fallen victim to any prank, it takes a very smart group of people to pull me into believing a lie, my brain synchronizes so fast.
However, there was a friend who pulled a prank on his friend and I was there to witness. They were adults , so the prank wasn't too bad. They had placed a football bet and the total amount they were expecting was around #80,000. One of them was done with his lecture, so he decided to go check the game and realized one of the games cut the ticket. He decided to prank the other one who was still in lecture that the bet they placed all entered (This communication was through Facebook). We watched in anticipation to know what the response of the other would be. He told us later that day that he immediately left the lecture room and announced to his friend that his bet had entered when he saw the message. He rushed outside not minding the lecturer's reaction to make a call enquiring if it was true that the placed bet entered. His friend didn't drag it much, he told him straight away that it was a lie, making him feel bad after the high hopes.
This is hilarious.
He left class for how much?
