This prompts brings back memories, hehe
I have never been lucky with fighting, not because I do not get to win most times (I was beaten to pulp sometimes tooπ) but it is because the aftermath of the fight is always worse than the fight itself.
I played a lot growing up and as a child, of course you would expect me to have misunderstanding with other children once in a while and would sometimes lead to physical fights.
lt was thirteen years ago, the very last I engaged in a fight, lol...
In our neighborhood, there were lots of children but then, there was this particular twin sisters, one was fat and the other was thin.
The thin one was very notorious for looking for trouble and she always gets away with it because his elder brother was always there to cover up for her which was very annoying.
One faithful evening, my cousin and I went for block rosary as we normally go and after the dismissal, we left for our various destination.
Along the line was when the thin sister looked for my trouble, I really cannot remember the details but I clearly remember how the fight went, lol.
Not long enough, the thin twin sister slapped me from nowhere, I was shocked because as at then, my mum has never slapped me before so what exactly gave this girl the mind to slap me? I asked myself rhetorically
Without much thoughts, I pounced on her and the fat twin sister came as per twins to rescue her and I combined both of themπ
When the elder brother who was our agemate heard of the fight and came to beat me like he will always do when his sisters looked for trouble, my cousin brother took care of him and there we were beating the whole family ππ
The good thing about the location of our fight was that it was in a place where we would fight and never get separated because it was a lonely place.
We later got separated by some parents that saw us but the damages were done already...
I already injured the sisters and my cousin brother injured the brother but wasn't as serious as mine....
Fast forward to the night after dinner, I saw a lantern heading to our home and knew I was in trouble.... It was the mother of the twins heading to our homeπ
She was shouting and ranting at the top of her voice, my mum managed to calm her down and asked what the problem was.
Despite the fact it was her children that looked for trouble, my mum still was apologising, I guess it was just to make her feel good though.
When she left, you should know the rest ππ
Fighting isn't always the best approach especially in our world today where a lot of persons are time bombs ready to explode anytime... Let's all adopt dialogue as it'll go a long way in all we do.
Thanks for reading and have a nice dayπ
