The Unseen Facts About Home: A Journey Of Self-Discovery

in HiveGhanayesterday

Hello guys, It's Berry again and welcome to my blog☺️😊

Speaking about home, I'll start with a question: what is home? Is it a physical structure, a geographical location, or something more intangible? 🤔🤔

For me, home has never been just a place; it's a feeling, a sense of belonging, and a connection to the people and experiences that make life worth living.

While growing up, I moved from one city to another, never staying in one place long enough to call it my own. My family's lifestyle made me realize that home wasn't just a physical address; it was the love, laughter, and memories we created along the way. My parents' warm smiles, my siblings' silly jokes, and the smell of my mother's cooking – these were the things that made me feel at home, no matter where we were.

As I got older, my idea of home got bigger. I found comfort in books that took me to new places and introduced me to characters who felt like family. Music especially, became a source of joy that spoke straight to my heart, making me feel understood. And I made strong bonds with friends who were like my second family, sharing laughs, tears, and late-night talks that helped to shape me into the person I am today.

But home is not just a feeling; it's also a sense of community.
It can be the neighborhood coffee shop where the barista knows your name and your order,😅 It can also be the local park where you watch children play and couples stroll hand-in-hand😉🤭
Home to me, is where you feel a sense of belonging, where you can be yourself without apology or any pretence.

For me, home is also a sense of identity. It's the culmination of my experiences, my values, and my passions. It's the way I cook my mother's recipes, the way I laugh at my father's jokes, and the way I tell stories that have been passed down through generations. Home is where I can be my authentic self, without fear of judgment or rejection.

If I wanna think about what home means to me, I realize that it's not just a physical place or a feeling; it's a journey. It's a journey of self-discovery, of growth, of exploration, and of connection. Home is where the heart is, and my heart is full of love, laughter, and memories.🤭😊❣️

So, what is home to you? Is it a place, a feeling, or an experience? Is it a person, a memory, or a sense of community? Whatever it may be, I encourage you to cherish it, to nurture it, and to share it with the world. Cos someone once said "home is not just a destination; it's a journey that makes life worth living" 😊😊
