Adulthood is a phase where our sense of belonging and responsibility kicks in, it is another stage of our life where we and others believe we’re ready to handle things ourselves and the way we want. This stage is the part where we decide by ourselves whether to choose the wrong part or the right one as there’s no one to give you that kind of option but as fun as this stage is it comes along with a lot of challenges from paying of bills, getting ready for work that’s if you were able to get any, building a family, making sure you’re not making mistakes, setting examples, etc.
Many are unable to handle all of this responsibility due to lack of management, illiteracy, lack of creativity, and many more leading to either abandoning their family or leaving a miserable life. Some even commit suicide because they can’t take the stress again.
Adulthood can lead to a lot of things if not taken seriously and one of them is depression.
When we grow to some certain age we start wishing for a lot of things in terms of lifestyle, fashion, and other things to satisfy our desires or others making us either work extra hours or get into debt, and if unable to be paid you get depressed causing damage to your physical and mental health.
Adulthood is not an easy one unlike when we were being pampered by our parents but it can also be easy for us if we can do the right thing below are the ways I managed growing up.
- Learn one more hand skills.
As sweet as earning morning online could be I still stand the motion of learning hand skills as can always come in handy as a side hustle to make more money and give us rest of mind because wherever you are your hand skills will always come along with you which makes you even more unique.
- Never stop learning.
Information is key always try to gather as much as you can leaving the irrelevant stuff out but always hold on to the relevant ones because it saves you in a difficult corner that will earn you a good position and make you more valuable.
- Do not rush to leave your parents' home.
This is what some of us always want which is getting out of our parent's house yea it can be all stuffy and cold in there but it’s the safest to be if your plan for the outside world is not strong enough so you don’t fall victim to the dangerous environment out there also it’ll keep you safe from dangerous peers of yours because they will be able to help you quench your desperation and lead you to the right path.
- Do not rush marriage.
Yeah, getting married can be sweet because of the love it gives but rushing into marriage could lead to a lot of things which include divorce, consistent disagreement, abuse, etc because neither of you has given room for proper growth yet and you haven’t get to know each other well.
While adulthood can be so challenging it also gives room for growth, development, meaningful relationships, and connections. You just need to know what’s best for you and the best strategy to work with for a better futuristic result.

Thank you for stopping by. Bye!
Adulthood is not easy depending on the responsibility on you
No one should ever even rush into anything. It's important to take your time.
Adulthood is a step by step journey. You learn on the go.
There are perks to both childhood and adulthood, however we view it.
Most people rush it and Miss their step along the way
I mean we all like the freedom that comes with being an adult and all and it’s also great that you get to learn and improve just as you’ve said
You get to experience certain things for yourself and decide to be better for yourself
Adulthood is not an easy phase of growing up but we still need to experience it
Yes we do
