Hi @abenad, this is a beautiful story. It is a cruel thing to abandon a woman at the altar. Nobody deserves to feel such heartache no matter what they might or might not have done. Trexane should have sought other means of ending the relationship but shooting him isn't particularly a wise move from Abenad.
I enjoyed your story but it would be nice to have shorter paragraphs and also have the dialogues in paragraphs so the reader can feel the weight of the spoken words. Nicely written
