Larry Bowa is a straight up Philadelphia Phillies legend! He had a successful sixteen year career in the MLB as a shortstop, twelve of which were spent in The City of Brotherly Love. He was a 5x All-Star and a 2x Gold Glove winner, performing at a high level throughout the 1970's. He even placed third NL MVP voting in 1978. Bowa capped off his great career by leading the Phillies to their first ever World Series Championship in 1980!

After retiring in 1985, Bowa began a coaching/managing career that would last all the way until 2017. Bowa was a manager for a little more than a season with the Padres in the late 80's and the Phillies from 2001-2004. His record ended up being 418-435 as a manager.
Really looking at everything Bowa accomplished with the Phillies, I'm pretty glad to own this card. Bowa is on the Phillies Wall of Fame!
