I thought Jahlil was going to be next big thing man. Crazy how fast time flies. I was watching the Sixers HEAVILY at the time. My goodness crazy how all the memories fly back. Life has moved quickly.

Jahlil has really fallen off the map in the league nowadays. He last appeared in the league in 2021 as a member of the Pistons. For several years now he has floated around foreign organizations and the G-League. It's a bittersweet thought realizing that Jahlil's rookie season nine years ago with Philly was literally peak Jahlil Okafor. That season Jahlil had career highs in every single statistical category imaginable. He started 48 games and averaged 17 points a game in 2015, numbers he never really came all that close to again. Wild. I could never have predicted this for Jahlil nine years ago.

The guy is only 28, he could find his way back to the league one day.
The big movie out in theaters when Jah made his debut, was 'The Martian' with Matt Damon. Decent movie.
