Pretty surprised that someone bothered to fake Fusion strike and Battle Styles, to be honest. They're both extremely unpopular sets along with Chilling Reign due to bad pull rates. And, typically these fake products end up being used on Ebay/Mercari and other places to try and scam newbies these days. You can find Fusion Strike ETB's pretty often that are discounted down to $30-35 that still don't sell. And, Battle Styles booster boxes are available for around $80 on quite a few sites compared to the normal $115-130 price, because everyone and their geriatric grandma living in a nursing home dislike that set for having basically no chase cards.

lol i had no idea about them prior to buying, even if they had been original.
Well, yeah. Unless you're playing the card game or being an addict collector like me you wouldn't know. You should see the data on modern pull rates though, shit is a nightmare compared to 20 years ago. The pull rate for base set Charizard was 1/48 packs. You know what current pull rates look like? The chase cards on average are a 1/600 chance to get. Some sets are worse like Evolving Skies, the chase cards in that are a 1/1200 chance to pull.
Fusion Strike had a total other issue on top of bad pull rates as well. They had a manufacturing issue where they loaded several pallets of booster boxes up with a secret rare in almost every pack, which lead to a bunch of other boxes not having any secret rares at all. Modern Pokemon is abysmal as fuck to open sometimes. But, that god damn scratch still needs to be itcheddd.
