INTERESTING AND PAINFUL ANECDOTES OF WORLD FAMOUS SCIENTISTS

Hello #HIVE Owners,

Catching you up after a long time. Sorry about that. This is a different attempt this time. Hope you all enjoy this content.

When I searched the net for some interesting anecdotes that happened in the lives of some famous scientists, I got some information about some of them.

Let me list it out one by one

  1. Henry Cavendish, natural philosopher, the greatest experimental and theoretical English chemist and physicist of his age. Such a great personality had gynophobia. None of his maids ever dared to come in front of him and the only mode of communication happened was through the notes that will be left on his kitchen table.

Comment: Was this GYNophobia, his GAIN or LOSS?

  1. After the death of the scientist Albert Einstein, an autopsy was performed. The pathologist who did this stole his brain and kept it in a jar for 20 years.

Comment: Did the pathologist think that having his brain with him will show him a path scientifically? Crazy fellow!

  1. Stephen Hawking declined the Knighthood title from the Queen of England. The reason for this rejection was due to the fact that he disliked the titles' concept. Their(UK Government) botching up of science funding would also have been the reason for the rejection.

Comment: When he has a hawKING TITLE already in his name, then what is the need for another one? Mr. Stephen, am I right? hehhehehheh......

  1. Marie Curie and her husband were selfless to the core. Because of this reason, their discoveries became open secrets. They shared their works with other scientists. They did not earn a single penny out of it. Because of its popularity, Radium was sold at a very high price that made its discoverer unable to afford the very same Radium she invented, to continue her research.

Comment: Even though her research was stopped midway, Mrs. Marie's RADIUM CURiE(D) CANCERS AND SAVED LIVES!

  1. French Academy of Sciences did a lot of injustice by overwriting Marie’s name with her husband's name. This dejected her very much. But an inspiring message from Albert Einstein changed it all. Within a year, she received her second Nobel Prize with delight.

Comment: Not only her TALENT but also FEMINISM emerged victoriously!

  1. Marie stopped her research as soon as the first world war broke out. With her “Little Curies”, i.e., the name of the outfit ambulances she designed, used Radium to locate and remove the shrapnel in the soldiers’ bodies. Because of her timely invaluable assistance, she was able to save the lives of a million soldiers.

Comment: Marie Curie and her husband Pierre Curie could have missed the opportunity to earn millions of dollars through their discovery Radium, but they were able to save millions of lives of the soldiers. I viewed both of them as not only SCIENTISTS but also FINEtists!

  1. Both Marie and her husband spent a large part of their lives doing researches with radioactive materials. As a result of it, they both suffered from chronic pain. The unfortunate thing is that they were unable to connect this radioactive material as a reason for their pains. Quite unfortunate.

Comment: They worked hard. They discovered. The entire humanity enjoyed (and will still enjoy the results FOREVER).

WHAT PAINS ME IS THAT THEY DID NOT ONLY ENJOY THE FRUITS OF THEIR HARD WORK BUT ALSO SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF THE MATERIAL THEY WORKED WITH!

In simple words, they received the negativity and spread the POSITIVITY TO THE ENTIRE WORLD. HATS OFF TO THEM!

Catching you up after a long time. Sorry about that.

Happened to me too. Sometimes life gets busy and it can be hard to stay active.

This is an interesting post that gave me some new knowledge. I'm glad to learn new things and discover the selflessness of others.

Dear #HIVE Owner,

After reading your invaluable words, my mind got a million-volt boost.

I have got an immense love for the science subject and physics is my favorite. And so is my affinity towards scientists.

"This is an interesting post that gave me some new knowledge. "

My heartfelt thanks for your awesome comment.

" I'm glad to learn new things and discover the selflessness of others."

I am really glad to hear those words, @niallon11 Sir.

#HIVE FIVE from India to you, Sir.
