Nicolai is a new age vampire, a genetic anomaly capable of withstanding sunlight. This makes him an unstoppable predator 24 hours a day.
At night he hunts in the traditional methodology of his race. But at dawn, when the other vampires go into hiding, he continues his bloody feast in the open.
No one is safe from his fangs. Old people strolling at dawn, children on their way to school, workers on their way to work. Nicolai stalks and subdues them in broad daylight before the incredulous gaze of helpless witnesses.
The authorities are powerless to catch him. The vampire hunters have also failed, as their methods are designed for creatures of the night.
Desperate, some vampires conspire to eliminate him, fearful that his ruthless behaviour will bring the wrath of humanity upon their entire bloodline.
