The hospital thief

That wretch, for he deserved no other name, had achieved a petty way of profiting at the expense of the misfortune of others.

At night, taking advantage of the hospital's laxity, he would sneak in disguised as a doctor to rob the sick. He hid his worst disease: insatiable greed.

With feigned naturalness, he entered the individual rooms at late hours, robbed the victims and left stealthily, like the rat he was. He deceived his wife, telling her that he worked as a night watchman.

One night, in his eagerness to steal a ring from an old woman, he choked her when she tried to scream. He came to a macabre conclusion: it was easier to rob a dead man than a living one.

Whenever he sensed trouble, he killed his victims mercilessly, confident that no one would ask questions.

But his luck was about to change when he tried to steal the Rolex of a young, strong patient.

When he injected him with bleach, the “bear” woke up and brutally beat him. Just then, two policemen who had been watching him walked in. The filthy varmint had fallen into the trap.

The imposing six-foot officer would handcuff him and take him to the police station. That hospital fiend would no longer be able to outwit justice. His macabre game had come to an end.
