Advocating For Good Mental Health

Mental Health is something that is of absolute necessity in today’s day and age as we are working harder in life and our troubles are not being tackled as effectively as it used to be back in the past. Plus it is a given fact that advocating for good mental health is critical in raising awareness and breaking out of the stigma of the fact that people consider any Mental Discomfort as being Dumb. I can attest to this because back around 2012 I was severely depressed in life due to certain situations and after debating a lot with myself of wether I should ask someone for help or not I conferred with my Mom and asked her to provide me help as I was severely depressed the reply she gave me shocked me deeply

She said Depression is a Myth just giddy up and everything will be OK.

The thing is that the Stigma around Mental Health is such that people even don’t like to talk about it and that is because they don’t understand what having Good Mental Health is.

As for me I have been advocating for Good Mental Health ever since my own fiasco with it so that when I see someone having troubles with Mental Health I try my best to talk with them and try to hear out all they have to offer as currently I believe that to overcome the stigma around Mental Health we have to educate others about Good Mental Health.
