China has been on fire lately as they released two more AI models after DeepSeek which kind of proves their dominance on AI. Number one, GOKU. Released by TikTok's parent company ByteDance, this is an open source video generation model unlike Sora and Google Vue which is a closed source. This model was trained on approximately 160 million image text pairs and 36 million video text pairs which was taken from various academic repositories and internet content.

Number two is Kimi. Just like DeepSeek, this is also an open source reasoning model which has a context length of 200k tokens, processing up to 50 uploaded files and searching across 100 websites all at once. Imagine the processing going behind the scenes. With DeepSeek's hype, China now wants to take competitive edge over US and it feels like they're doing it very right as right now DeepSeek and China’s AI is all the talk of the town.
