Arachne Weaver: The monster with the corrupted healing ability

Hello Splinter nerds

The latest update on Splinterlands was cool but I do not like the part where players can now see their opponent before the battle starts, i love it when the opponent does not know I am the one coming for them neither do I want to know who I was paired with, so I just assume I still can't see who is being paired with me and it works!.

The new Rebellion reward cards are super cool! the likes of Olivia of the Brook with her mimic ability and today I want to reveal another reward card that gives headaches to opponents in battles.

The name is Arachne Weaver an epic death monster with 3 abilities. One of the abilities stands out because it is the only monster with the ability on Splinterlands and as for the other 2 abilities, they are poison and scavenger which are well known to players.

The new ability is called Corrupted healing and it restores 70 percent of max health to all the monsters that suffer damage on the same team with Arachne Weaver the only disadvantage is that their max health is reduced by -1 whenever it heals any monster.

Arachne can not heal itself but it can heal others and the scavenger ability keeps her alive longer in battle so this card is quite useful if you want to use the death splinter, there is no healer in death yet but Arachne can fill that void with its special corrupted healing power.

I had a battle with Moertoe in a 3 ruleset... The first rule was unprotected a no armor battle, the second rule was silence summoner all summoners lose their stats so no difference in using a legendary or rare summoner, but it helps to use summoners with low mana especially in a low battle cap so you can have enough mana for your choice of monsters, the last rule was Super sneak all melee monsters have the sneak ability which makes them target the last unit in the opponent team.

We used a dragon summoner even though it has no stats because we wanted to summon dragon monsters, I was not surprised with his lineup as I expected something like that, we used the same monster Harklaw as a defense against the sneak rule, it is capable with its shield and demoralizes ability that reduces the power of melee monsters but then both of us defended against melee and came with magic and range attackers.

Ulfa the blighted was the first monster on my team and it is good at what he does best which is applying poison to its killers and possibly monsters adjacent to them, so the opponent rage killed it and got poisoned, the same with Will-o-wisp and the poison was spread to snake eye the monster adjacent Wisp which gives me an advantage.

The opponent lost his Grimbardun smith in the second round and with the help of Arachne who restored 70 percent of my Grimbardun heath, it survived the second round! Delya caused a lot of damage to the opponent monster and in round 3, it eliminated the Rage which put me at a great advantage cos his team became vulnerable.

It was easy peasy eliminating the rest of the monsters on his team after the elimination of his Rage and that was how I came out victorious, Arachne also helped the team with its healing skills, it restored the health of Rage too when it became the tank...

I do not see others use the monster that often in battle but it is a good monster if used in a suitable battle ruleset.

You just beat me in Splinterlands :p

lol. doctor blight saved me

Whenever I see the Archane in an all magic Ruleset and I don't have one myself, I usually know it'll be difficult for me to win since snipe and opportunity cards are not allowed.
Your opponent never stood a chance, but maybe if they had an archane too then perhaps they could have stood a chance as well.

you haven't gotten Arachne yet from reward? Hope you know you can use your glint in reward shop to purchase epic reward cards?
