People really forget what leadership is, they
have changed the perspective which is why we are in this mess especially here in Nigeria. They are just about the status and position, they are concerned about how to control as the boss,how to make law which everyone follow.
Some leaders forget their real job which is to be responsible for their junior do's. Everybody has the capacity to be a leader,most people wants to be a leader because of the opportunities, respect,fame and dignity its gives one but they do not know or they forgot that it also comes with a lot of personal sacrifices as well.
As a leader,you have to be able to carry your team along well,make sure they are not there just because they wants to make ends meet but they are there because they love their job, you know ,love their job doesn't mean the salary or payment but they enjoy their job as well, they shout be able to be themselves at work,not putting on fake good behavior.
As a leader,you have to compliment every good act by your junior/team not just only scolding then when they do wrong. Ask about their welfare and their needs to make their work a success, give them break or rest when needed even if you cannot take a break at that moment. You must be able to correct with empathy, with love. Something like " Have been correcting your works frequently, hope no problem, are you okay, are you fine?" Such worker will want to quickly find a solution to that problem affecting him quickly.
Sending your junior/worker home for a screwed work will give others to be at their edge, working with fear instead of them being able to come to you that they made a mistake or they don't know what they are doing, they need help.As a leader,it is not always the right people you need but the right atmosphere to make people do their job happily, a happy worker will deliver good results.
To change the world,the work is in the hands of every leader.
