One of my favorite parts about Southern Utah is the red rock. I think it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth. This year we didn’t make it over to Zion national Park where the best red rock is, but we got to go on lots of different hikes around southern Utah mainly in the cities of St. George Washington
It’s just a little kids playground. The kids love to explore and go find places that they think nobody has ever been. We climb up rock faces we climb in little caves. I think that there’s no better place for 8 and 9-year-olds to go out and just explore.
my kids spent over three hours, just climbing on the rocks. It was like pulling teeth trying to get them to leave. I even told him that we could go to a candy shop after and they would rather stay at the red rocks.
it was fun though once we left and did find an old-fashioned candy shop. They each got to pick a couple treats for the ride home that we drove today. Nothing like spending 6 1/2 hours in the car with three kids.
It’s so good to be home. The only problem is that it means I’m back to work tomorrow. I’ve got a ton of different emails that I’ve go some I need to follow up on. Probably be a long couple days catching up, but that’s the price you paid to take vacation.

You'll probably laugh, but I always get Idaho and Utah mixed up. I always feel like Utah is much further north than it actually is.
I’m 25 minutes from Idaho. So im right there.
Ah, okay! :)
St George is such a gorgeous place, isn't it? Great pictures! It looks like you all had a blast. Too bad vacation have to come to end!
