RISK!
growing up one of my favorite memories was either on New Year’s Day or New Year’s Eve. My dad would set up a huge risk game. It was always him and all my uncles and some of my cousins.
this was serious business. They would plan it for weeks. Sometimes they even get two or three boards going at the same time.
my dad had his own unique set of rules as well. He had added countries and added bonuses for these countries.
Well tonight I carried on that tradition with my two sons. My daughter stuck on my team.
Those little punks thought it would be funny to team up on me and me out of the game very quickly. It reminded me of one time when all my cousins teamed up on my dad and out of the game very quickly. I told him next time it’s not gonna be so easy
I think it’s a fun tradition. I’m probably gonna keep it up from here on out. Harder to team up if I get more people to play. They will struggle to get me out so fast.

Risk is such a fun game, I don't get to play it very often. It's certainly not as fun when multiple players team up against you! 😢
I've never played Risk in my 40 plus years on this planet. I have a feeling I wouldn't be very good at it. I am just not good at thinking ahead like that. Especially with tings like chess.
next year on news years eve you might have to give it a try. lol.

That's a great tradition to keep alive! I've never played Risk believe it or not. My family has never owned one! Very cool tradition. Happy New Year!
